How can any Republican be all for movie set energy?

We have determined that industrial wind farms are movie sets, they present the illusion of something good for the planet and the people. They are presented as White Colonist Saviors.
In this case the illusion is "clean fossil free carbon dioxide reducing renewable energy that begins to free us from fossil fuels " but we all know now that wind and solar waste energy and cannot ever free us from fossil fuels unless we just go back to using old wind mills that grind grain.
We have been sold an illusion. How is it that politicians can't understand this?
